An impressive career can conceal some of the darkest stories beneath. Lolo Jones, winner of both USA championships and World championships in the event of hurdles, has reached her current standing with lots of effort and a huge amount of patient. Jones, who was born to a motherless family that included five kids living who were stricken by poverty and hardship when she was a kid, endured an extremely challenging childhood. Her mother lived along the road and even inside the basement of a church in the area at times. Jones had to be moved into a new school each during her senior year because of this nomadic existence. Jones left her mother to Theodore Roosevelt to enable her to focus on her interest in track. Jones stayed in four houses during her highschool time to pursue her education in one place. Jones received an award called the Gatorade Iowa Track and Field Award for the Best Athlete at school and was also an active member of the school orchestra as a cello player. As she began college, Jones proved to be one of the top hurdlers. At the 2002 NCAA Track and Field Championships, Jones won the 100 meter hurdles. She also was part of the team that won the 100-meter relay. Jones has won indoor hurdles at NCAA Championships both in 2003 and 2004. Jones was a professional athlete when she graduated in 2005. her bachelor's degree. She started training to pursue a track career that would be successful. Growing up in Cape Town South Africa Brandt moved with her family to Auckland New Zealand in her in her late teens. Her talent was recognized in Auckland by local casting director Brandt. She was cast in the part of Naevia in her role on the Starz show Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. In collaboration with the producers Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi she captivated audiences through her performances and became one of the shows biggest starlets. Mazikeen was a well-loved comic book character on Vertigo/DC, as well as on the Netflix popular series Lucifer for six years. Forbes has ranked Lucifer as the top binge-watched show for 2021. Brandt is next seen in a six-episode Walking Dead limited spin-off starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Giurira and will be aired in 2024. Lesley Ann Brandt, born December 2, 1981 in Cape Town South Africa. She is a talented New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt moved with her entire family of New Zealand to Auckland in 1999. In Auckland she started her career in retail and later was promoted to IT management consultant. After several modeling assignments, Lesley appeared in many commercials. In 2008 she completed her acting major and further trained in Meisner ways of learning. The first time she was seen with New Zealand was as a TV actor in Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt is a supporting actor on the New Zealand television drama Shortland Street. Later she appeared in a sci-fi drama arrangement This Is Not My Life which is based upon the anecdotal town of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt appeared as Naevia a young hostage in the Television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Her character was featured in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
