Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German actress on television and film famous for her performance in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Being the sole daughter of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra began her professional career in showbiz as a child. She was a lead actress in television dramas as early as the age of 16. The audience was impressed by her performance as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable performances, like Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge.
